The Arctic Fox is an incredibly cool animal that lives in some of the coldest places on earth.
These amazing creatures come from the Arctic regions, a place where temperatures can drop very, very low.
Instead of freezing, they have thick fur that keeps them warm, even in harsh, icy conditions.
Not just any fur, Arctic Foxes have white fur that helps them blend in with the snow.
This is called camouflage and it’s similar to you wearing green if you wanted to hide in the grass.
This white fur is actually only for the winter.
When the seasons change and the Arctic becomes a bit warmer, the fox’s fur changes too!
Their fur turns into a brown or gray color, again helping them to blend in with the rocks and plants around them.
