Brush Teeth Coloring Page
Brushing our teeth is something we do every day, but do you ever wonder when or why it started?
It may surprise you, but the practice of cleaning our teeth has been around for thousands of years! Ancient people used chew sticks or twigs to brush their teeth.
Today, we use a toothbrush and paste, much easier and effective, right?
The bristles of your toothbrush help to remove the buildup of food and bacteria from your teeth, while the toothpaste adds fluoride to strengthen the tooth enamel.
Don’t overlook the importance of a toothbrush’s design.
It has a long handle so we can reach every tooth in our mouth, and its head is small enough for precise cleaning. Plus, the bristles are flexible and gentle so it doesn’t hurt our gums!
It’s recommended that we brush our teeth twice a day – once in the morning and once before bed.
Doing this helps protect our teeth from cavities, tooth decay, and keeps our breath fresh!
So remember, brushing your teeth isn’t just about having a sparkly smile.
