Well, scientists believe that space and everything within it came from a big event called “The Big Bang”.

Space is really, really, REALLY big.

Some even say it is never-ending, meaning it stretches out forever and ever!

There is no air or atmosphere in space like we have on Earth, which means there is no weather.

And because there is no air to carry sound waves, it is incredibly quiet in space.

It’s interesting to know that although space is largely empty, it’s not completely empty.
