Interestingly, Superman did not originate from Earth, but a far away planet called Krypton.

Superman has different powers that make him super special. His abilities include super strength, lightning-fast speed, invincibility, flight, and laser vision.

With his super strength, he can lift almost anything no matter how heavy it is. When he races with speed, even the fastest car stands no chance.

Whenever evil strikes in the city of Metropolis where he lives, he uses his powers to fight and protect the people. His strength is drawn from our Sun, and Kryptonite, a substance from his home planet, is the only thing that can weaken him.

Even though he dresses like a normal person and works as a journalist named Clark Kent, whenever trouble arises, he switches to his heroic alter-ego, Superman, and saves the day.
